What can you expect when One Clean Roof arrives at your door? When we arrive in our lettered trucks, our uniformed crew will let you know that they have arrived with a friendly knock at the door and a big smile. If you have any questions, now would be a great time to ask the crew leader. He’ll be happy to help.

One of the first things you will see the crew do is put on their safety harnesses and ropes. At One Clean Roof, the safety of our employees is a priority and we insist on safety first. A ladder is placed carefully against the side of your roof line and one crew member will ascend the ladder to the roof surface to begin spraying the mold and mildew cleaner on your roof. The person on the roof will work in sections, spraying separate coats in order to insure consistent coverage.

While one crew member is on the roof, the second person is on the ground continually spraying the plants over which we are working with clean, fresh water. We do this to dilute any of the product that might fall on the leaves of the plants from the roof cleaning process. The downspouts will also be bagged with a garbage bag to catch any runoff from the roof mixture. The contents of the bag will be disposed of properly.

Once the roof is clean, a final spray of the plants with our “Plant wash” formula is applied. This application is a two-fold benefit to the plants. First, it adds a boost to the plants that have had a large amount of water put on their leaves and root system. Secondly, it neutralizes and protects any of the mold and mildew inhibitor that may drip from the roof edge and onto the leaves of the plants.

We will perform a final check of the roof, make sure all of the water spigots have been turned off and that all of our equipment is packed up and ready to go. Finally, that smiling face will reappear at your door, let you know they have finished and answer any final questions you may have.
